Even though the sun has been fairly quiet for the last few days, northern Minnesota was treated to yet another light show. As predicted earlier by the NOAA, the northern lights made lit up the sky on this cold February evening. It was not as spectacular as some recent displays however it still showed heavy green bands with red tinted streaks every so often. Too bad we do not have our normal amount of snow on the ground because it would have been interesting to see the light from the display reflected in a snowy landscape.
